VDI-Gesellschaft Bauen und Gebäudetechnik (Association of German Engineers Corporation for Construction and Building Services) will host an Expert Forum for VDI Guideline 2164 “PCM – Energy Storage Systems in Building Services” at the Maritim Hotel in Düsseldorf, Germany on 20 June 2017.
The Expert Forum will give you the opportunity to discuss the new VDI Guideline 2164 with its creators and learn its contents at first hand. You will be informed about the basics of using latent heat storage materials in building service systems and how these systems and components can be used for saving energy and increasing efficiency. PCM energy storage systems and their performance parameters will be described as well as planning and calculation methodologies for designing. There will also be a small exposition of products so that you can get in contact with representatives of producers and committee members.
